Where Can I Book?

We have made booking your tickets at The Gateway really easy, whether it’s to book tickets for a cinema screening or a live performance, it can be done via one of the ways below.

  • Over the phone

    Our box office phone lines are open 10:00am to 1:00pm Monday to Thursday excluding Bank Holidays and weekends, and subject to staff availability. Telephone 01297 625 699

  • At the box office

    Our Box Office counter in the theatre lobby is open Tuesday – Thursday 10:00am to 1:00pm where tickets can be purchased for all events. The Box Office is run by volunteers, and there are occasions when it is unattended. When this happens, office staff will usually be able to help.

  • Online

    Tickets are on sale 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on our website, take a look at our upcoming events here.

Where To Find The Theatre

The Gateway Theatre is located in the heart of Seaton just a 5 minute walk from the seafront.

Parking Around The Theatre

The theatre does not have its own car park but here are several large car parks located nearby. The closest car parks to the theatre are;

Jurrassic Long Stay Car Park The Underfleet, Seaton EX12 2WD

Orchard Short Stay Car Park Old Beer Road, Seaton EX12 2PD

There is also a coach park located on The Underfleet – Seaton Jurassic Coach Park, Seaton EX12 2LX

Travelling To The Theatre

By car: the theatre is approximately a 40 minute journey from Exeter travelling on the A30 to Honiton and then following signs for ‘Seaton’ and then ‘Town Centre’

By train: the closest train station to the theatre is Axminster, a 20 minute drive, with direct links to Exeter St Davids and London Waterloo.

By bus: the town has various bus routes linking Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Exeter, Axminster, Honiton, Taunton and surrounding villages to Seaton.

ACCESSIBILITY

Here at The Gateway we want to make sure everyone can access the arts and our community groups which take place during the week.

Both the box office and auditorium are situated on the ground floor at street level with easy access through to our toilets with dedicated wash room facilities. The bar is situated within our auditorium with same floor access.
