Sitting at the heart of our community, offering accessible Arts and Entertainment for everyone. From live gigs and classical music seasons to dynamic performances and world‑class theatrical productions, we’re proud to bring a rich cultural programme to our audiences.
We’re extremely proud of our community venue. It has become a vibrant, welcoming space where people of all ages come together to connect, create, and celebrate.
Our venue is run on a group of friendly volunteers who welcome everyone who comes into the theatre. We’re always on the lookout for new volunteers interested in joining the team.
Medical evidence shows that socialising can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety by decreasing feelings of loneliness and isolation. Our community-led programme recognises the vital role that connection and activity play in overall health.
We continue to provide a place where opportunities come to life. We offer countless ways for people to discover new interests and develop skills.
Stay up to date with everything going on at our community venue.
Become part of The Gateway Theatre family by joining our Membership Scheme offering show discounts, zero booking fees and lot’s more.
Enabling young people to engage with their local venue ensures the theatre is supported in the future. With the nearest industry hubs in Bristol, Plymouth, or London, our venue opens doors that otherwise might feel out of reach.
