Following the success of past productions and a break since 2020, Seaton Panto is back in its traditional February slot! A brand-new company takes to the stage with The Wizard of Oz, promising plenty of laughs, magic and classic panto fun.
Follow the Yellow Brick Road on a whirlwind adventure packed with heart, hilarity and high heels! When Dorothy and Toto are swept away to the fantastical land of Oz, her larger-than-life Aunt Em is never far behind.
Along the way, Dorothy joins forces with a brainless Scarecrow, a heartless Tin Man and a cowardly Lion as they journey to Emerald City, hoping the mighty Wizard can grant their wishes. But with the Wicked Witch of the West hot on their heels—and a broken sat nav, talking scarecrows and eccentric Ozians causing chaos—nothing quite goes to plan.
Adapted for the stage by Alex Jackson, this much-loved story gets the full panto treatment, packed with witty jokes, audience participation, slapstick silliness and toe-tapping tunes—not to mention flying monkeys and those famous sparkly shoes!
A magical adventure and fantastic fun for the whole family!
